the oscars suck

ok, so i admit i haven't seen 'million dollar baby'. but i just can't believe that morgan freeman stole that film like the way thomas haden church did in sideways. i walked out of that movie blown away by him the most. all the oscars ever do is the politcally correct thing...which means that scorsese will probably finally win tonight...even though it's like two decades late. problem is, there probably won't be another chance for church...just like there probably won't be another opportunity for bill murray (who lost to sean penn...when sean penn, who's amazing, should've already won himself earlier).

maybe i'm an idiot...but i just REALLY wanted to see 'Lowell" of Wings win an Oscar!! but alas no :(

the spinning class was full...and i had even gotten there 15 minutes earlier. had to be due to the rain. ugh!! :( i needed it to...i feel crappy inside...

damn red sox!!

so, i'm really happy the red sox won the world series, but now because of them, i have extra work to do. my boss just called, interupting my sunday afternoon chat with the antiparticle herself, to tell me that in two days (!) we're shooting a big break charity challenge with four red sox players in fort myers. looks like i get to start my monday morning with a 3 hour drive. yup.

the concept is simple: the players (who i guess all play golf) will compete in 4 different challenges, with one player eliminated per challenge. the ultimate winner will win money that he can donate to whatever charity appeals to him.

i wanted an easy week before my trip to new york next week. :(

j in gainesville is IMing me now...i'll chat with her for a bit and then i'll head to the gym...i do a sunday 4 p.m. spinning class...it's a good workout...i need it too...i'm really cranky!! :(
